- Heading South
After 17 days of relaxing motorbike rides in the hills of northern Thailand and catching up with friends and family in my favorite Asian city, Chiang Mai, I suddenly felt ready to move on yesterday. I am not sure if it was the third renewal of my motorbike or the fact that Thai airways was nice enough to offer me a free domestic ticket to make up for a bag they lost 4 months ago. Perhaps it was the realization that if I do not move on now I might not move till the immigration police track me down and deport me.

So I am heading south to find an island or fishing village to continue my relaxation and practice my Thai. I have been so unmotivated to write or take photos that I may look for a place with no computers at all. It seems that their availability has an inverse effect on my desire to use them.

On the way I plan to get my ticket home. ETA: Novenber 14th
